Tune into this webinar to explore gear modelling tools in COMSOL Multiphysics that are useful for power transmission simulations.
In the presentation, you will learn techniques for modelling various types of gear pairs, such as spur and helical, worm and wheel, and rack and pinion gear pairs. We will also discuss advanced settings for gear pair modelling, including gear mesh stiffness, transmission error, backlash, and friction. In addition, we will demonstrate how to use the Part Library for building realistic gear geometries.
This webinar will feature a live demonstration of modelling a gear train in the COMSOL software. You can ask questions throughout the presentation or at the end during the Q&A session.
