Challenge - ACI needed a quick-turn, cost efficient service to produce parts for a large scale project. Having been quoted 12-16 weeks elsewhere.
Solution - Partnering with Protolabs’ injection moulding service, ACI were able to turn parts around in one, three, five or fifteen days.
Outcome - Since its first experience, ACI went on to use Protolabs to create a wide range of parts for its many airline customers. Everything from seat parts to carpet joiners, galley products to overhead bin components and even seat-back video surrounds (as seen in this article).
